 Summary: 

Providence Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oracle Middleware Administrator to join our IT team. The Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator will be responsible for working on all activities related to the administration of Middleware Administration. Installs, designs, creates, and maintains Middleware solutions in a client/server environment. Conducts quality control and auditing of Middleware installations in a client/server. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Middleware administration, a keen attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. 

 Responsibilities: 
  • WebLogic server Administration 
  • Installation of FMW Infrastructure 
  • Creating WebLogic domains 
  • Configuring application High-Availability with clusters, frontend proxy and / or load balancing 
  • Configuring WebLogic resources: e.g. Datasources, JMS Queues/Topics 
  • Configuring Single Sign-On for applications deployed on WebLogic 
  • Configuring SSL/HTTPS for WebLogic and/or frontend web servers 
  • Oracle HTTP server installation/configuration 
  • WebLogic reverse Proxy plug-in configuration 
  • Integrating external LDAP with WebLogic and configuring Authentication and Authorization 
  • Configuration and Monitoring using WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST) and Shell / Batch scripting 
  • Deployment of enterprise or web applications 
  • Automating configuration and deployments using WLST, maven, etc. 
  • WebLogic Multitenancy configuration 
  • Disaster Recovery design / configuration / testing 
  • Implementing security for Applications and servers. Access controls, Roles, policies. 
  • Security Vulnerability Remediations 
  • Patching FMW infrastructure 
  • Upgrading FMW infrastructure or components 
  • Performance Tuning : JVM, JDBC, JMS, Threads, Connections, Linux/Windows OS packages and parameters. 
  • Requirement gathering for new platform or environment 
  • Designing platform architecture 
  • Capacity Management, Scaling environments 
  • Service Management (Change, Incident, Service Catalog) 
  • Managing Production Support and Operations 
  • Documenting Architecture Designs, Procedures, Test cases, Strategies, Plans, etc. 
Requirements: 
  • Security Clearance 
  • CompTIA Security + 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, managing Oracle 12c and above. 
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, including RAC, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). 
  • Knowledge of operating systems, including Linux, UNIX, and Windows Server. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex database issues. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
