As a Computer Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating hardware and software technologies, identifying and resolving system bottlenecks, and recommending improvements that enhance development and maintenance efficiency. You will play a key role in supporting system performance, security, and compliance requirements across our IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate state-of-the-art computer hardware and software for applicability to project and mission requirements.
- Ensure effective interfacing between systems, applications, and hardware components.
- Troubleshoot system bottlenecks, identify root causes, and recommend solutions for elimination.
- Recommend improvements that optimize system performance, development, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to implement system changes and improvements in line with organizational and DoD standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant IT experience.
- Clearance/Background: Must possess IT-II designation or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at the time of application.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- DoD Approved 8570.01/8140.01 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to recommend practical system improvements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
