Providence Solutions is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to support a major federal application program in the Philadelphia area. This role will serve as an Application DBA responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle database objects, including tables, packages, procedures, functions, views, triggers, synonyms, and sequences, while performing comprehensive code reviews to support an application development team. This position focuses exclusively on application-level database engineering and is not a Systems DBA role.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Oracle database components supporting multiple logistics and medical-supply information systems.
- Implement new features and ongoing improvements for enterprise medical supply and pharmaceutical applications supporting federal operations.
- Manage and maintain schemas, sequences, triggers, indexes, PL/SQL packages, and other Oracle objects required for application functionality.
- Architect, design, and implement Oracle-based services for back-end business processes, data exchanges, and web-based supply chain applications.
- Provide on-site and after-hours user support for production environments, collaborating closely with development teams, product stakeholders, and user groups.
- Analyze, triage, and resolve issues reported by internal teams and external system users.
- Perform structured code reviews as part of the infrastructure and security team to ensure compliance with security and coding standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required. Active Secret Clearance
- Ability to commute to the Philadelphia-area federal site two days per week.
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related Oracle application development/database engineering experience.
- Active Security+ certification.
